Coming in January 2010 A Step Beyond Publishing will provide the following services to the public.

As our name implies, A Step Beyond Publishing goes a step beyond the traditional methods of publishing. It is our belief that everyone has a marketable story. Therefore, we encourage novice authors to market themselves to the world. We realize however that getting the story in print can be time consuming. Maintaining a full time job while raising children can  sometimes outweigh fulfilling a dream such as writing a book and having it published. Who has the time? It is here that A Step Beyond Publishing can facilitate the process for novice authors getting their material published. Let A Step Beyond Publishing be your one stop shop for getting your material published. 

We will provide three tiers to facilitate the novice author in getting their material published.  

Tier I 

We will consult the client at every stage how to get published. We will review the manuscript and advise the client on editorial services, creation of book cover and text layout. We will instruct the client how and where to purchase their ISBN - International Standard Book Number - European Article Number, LCCN - Library Congress Control Number and copyrights. Finally, we will direct the client to a reputable printer and advise the client where to advertise their product and how. At this level, the novice author retains all rights to their material. Thus, the novice author will have self published her/his own book. Self publishing is recommended for those who have a substantial amount of time to devote to the project.

Tier II

Tier two is for the individual who has a good story but simply cannot afford to have the book published. In such a case, A Step Beyond Publishing will outright by the client's manuscript for a fee. We desire every individual who comes to or through A Step Beyond Publishing to gain some form of satisfaction and exposure. Therefore, if we buy a manuscript, we will agree to consult the client on any changes we feel are necessary to enhance the book. We would still want the client to participate. After all, it is your story. Once the book is finally published, the client's name will be recognized as the original author. In addition, the author will receivee a 10% royalty fee on every book sold. This will allow the novice author to continue to write while earning some money. The author must keep in mind that no book is guaranteed to be the next best seller. However, a little money and some exposure is better than no money and no exposure.

Tier III 

Tier III is for individuals who accept they do not have the time to publish a book but believe they have a marketable story. The client pays A Step Beyond Publishing to produce a finished product i.e., edit, create book cover, text layout, print, advertise, establish all legalities such as Copyrights, ISBN, LCCN and publish their material. At this tier, a royalty fee is determined and agreed upon for books sold to A Step Beyond Publishing's established cliental.
